The Note
His knees buckled underneath him because of the terror, but he stretched and got the note. “I told you,” it read. With the words spinning around in his mind, Joe started to tear around his home, looking for something… any sign that there was forced entry… However, he could find none. The question was how did the intruder get inside his house? Joe couldn’t come up with an answer but he knew he was terrified.
The Note
Asking For Help
Joe sprinted to the bedroom and made sure to lock the door. He knew that it was time to ask for help. He dialled 911 but was so terrified he could only whimper his address. He couldn’t give any more information. A couple of minutes later, he heard the authorities pull up the drive. They forced the front door open, and pounded on Joe’s bedroom door, screaming “police!” However, he didn’t come out of his room until the police had searched everywhere in his house and outside.
