Another Incident
There was another incident that happened. He came home earlier than usual and decided to order pizza and watch a movie. He was starting to settle in when he walked over to the refrigerator. However, he noticed that the fridge was slightly ajar. When he checked the temperature inside, it hadn’t even risen a few degrees. That means he couldn’t have left the refrigerator open when he left for work. Someone else had done it and just a couple of minutes before he arrived.

The implications were terrifying. All of a sudden, his dog started barking in an unusual way outside. Then, Joe saw it. In his peripheral vision, he could see something on the chopping board to his left. He knew right away that the board was out of place. “When my eyes fixed and focused on what it was, it hit me so hard it put the deepest crack in the hull of my sanity,” Joe revealed.
