A Dark Figure
A dark figure was pacing back and forth just outside his front door. He was muttering something viciously under his breath too. That is when Joe realized that someone had been watching him the entire time. He felt absolute terror, so he grabbed his pepper spray. However, when he looked through the peephole again, the figure was gone. The next morning, though, he found his mug empty except for a rolled note inside. There were three words crudely scrawled on it: “Let Us In.” Things were about to become stranger.

A couple of days later, the situation which was unfolding intensified. Joe decided to post something on Reddit describing what had been happening to him since he had found the cash and VHS tapes. At least, if something bad happened to him, an account of what he’d been going through would be available. He ended his post with: “It’s become clear to me that I am a pawn, forced to play in a very sick game.” Just what twisted game had he been inexplicably drawn into? Joe was about to find out.
