Starlet Lisa Bonet started her acting after a quick beauty contests career. When she was a kid, she did appear in some TV guest places which, when cast as Denise Huxtable on the Cosby Show, finally laid the groundwork for her great break. Bonet decided to leave The Cosby Show in 1987 as a star in a series of spinoffs, “A Different World,” that preceded the existence of Denise Huxtable as she moved for university.

After her pregnancy had been announced in the middle of filming “A Different World”, Bonet left the show yet came back one year later to The Cosby Show only to be removed for the reason of ‘creative differences’ in 1991. Bonet took on several work in straight-to-video productions. She has been sparingly active on TV and film since the 1990s and 2000s. Bonet eloped in Las Vegas on her 20th birthday with performer Lenny Kravitz but filed for divorce in 1993.
