Jane Curtin – Then
Crowned “Queen of the Dead” in 1975, actress Jane Curtin, a comedian, came on stage as a Saturday Night Live cast member. All through her time on SNL, Curtin was commended by the writer of the show, Al Franken, for her hard work and for her “strong moral center”. Even though most of the SNL star’s later turned onto the larger screen, Curtin opted to remain on TV with Susan Saint James from 1984 to 1989 as Single Mother Allie Lowell in Kate & Alley.
Jane Curtin – Now
In 1996, following Kate & Alley, Jane Curtin landed the role in yet another running third-rock TV series from the Sun. She after which narrated two episodes of Understanding in 1997 and played the lead in a short-term ABC sitcom called Crumbs together with Fred savage, which was only held in 2006 for 13 episodes. In recent years she has been featured in big films such as I Love You, Man, and The Heat and also in episodes of The Good Wife and Broad City.
