Geena Davis – Then
Throughout 1982, Geena Davis had her breakout role back. She had been working as a model just before director Sydney Pollack wanted to place her for his comedy movie Tootsie into a character as a soap opera starlet. She then represented Wendy Killian in the short-lived local television series Buffalo Bill in about two seasons. Buffalo Bill was running between 1983 and 1984. Davis has been also included in seasons of Knight Rider, Riptide, Family Ties, and Remington Steele during the early days of her career.
Geena Davis – Now
Geena Davis made an impressive transformation from TV to the cinema in the late 1980s and early 1990s with feature characters in Fletch, The Fly, and Beetlejuice. In 1988’s The Accidental Tourist, Davis did took home an Oscar as best supporting actress. Davis vanished from TV in the 1990s just to come back to her own tv series in 2000 for 22 chapters, the Geena Davis Show. Davis has appeared in recent years in Stuart Little, Chief of Staff, and a few low-budget productions.
