Donna Dixon – Then
Just before blonde beauty, Donna Dixon became a tv series-star, in the 1976 Miss USA beauty contest, she embodied the State of Virginia and came short. A year afterward, she went back to the Miss USA beauty contest, representing the district of Columbia, and she ended up winning the 1st Miss World USA runner-up. Dixon managed to score a first big role in television together with Peter Scolari and Tom Hanks, at the ABC sitcom Bosom Buddies. Bosom Buddies spanned two seasons and did run between 1980 and 1982.

Donna Dixon’s first work after Bossom Buddies was forced to cancel. It was a star role Doctor Detroit film. Dixon later married Dan Aykroyd whilst also filming the 1983 sitcom. Both of them do work together for various movies and TV shows. Dixon has showcased in the Twilight Zone: The Movie, Spies Like Us, Wayne’s World, Exit to Eden, and The Nanny during her 17-year career. In 1997 she decided to retire and already has three daughters.
