Dumb And Dumber (1994)
Most people would agree with us when we say that this movie made the career of the Farrelly brothers. This is one of those films that can have the viewers laughing all the way from the opening scene until the end credits. It follows a pair of dimwitted pals as they attempt to deliver a briefcase to a woman on the other side of the country. As Harry, Jeff Daniels even outshone Jim Carrey! There are plenty of buddy comedies out there, but this is one of the strongest that you will find in this subgenre.
Office Space (1999)
Mike Judge of Beavis and Butt-Head fame struck gold with a low-budget movie called Office Space. It tackles the lives of unhappy employees at a computer software company. It hit the mark when it comes to American middle-management! After all, just about every single person in the world has wanted to just walk out on their jobs in the past. It was satisfying to see Ron Livingston do exactly that in the role of Peter. Gary Cole as the annoying boss, Michael Bolton as a wannabe gangster, and Jennifer Aniston as a middling waitress only made the entire thing even more fun.
