Betty Brosmer And Joe Weider
In 1956, bodybuilder Joe Weider hired Betty Brosmer to appear in his very own fitness magazine called “Figure and Beauty.” The issue at hand had four pages of the model! The two of them worked with each other across the late ‘50s. In 1959, he decided to hire her fulltime. She was an asset to the company because she drew in female readers, who Weider struggled to attract beforehand. The partners had many shared interests like psychology and fitness. They tied the knot on April 24, 1961!
The Following Two Decades
Betty Brosmer kept modeling and appearing in publications throughout the next two decades. She did, however, stop posing for spreadsheets and glamour posters aimed at men after the wedding. Even before she and Weider got married, she never posed nude or semi-nude for the sake of her future husband. At any rate, she used her fitness figure status to land a number of advertisement gigs for various products. Who would have thought that there were already gimmick products even in those days? The Vibro Massage Shaker is only one example.
