In 1954, Betty Brosmer was handpicked by Christion Dior himself! As you already know, he is the founder of one of the biggest fashion houses in the world. The brand, named after himself, was backed by Marcel Boussac, one of the richest French entrepreneurs. In those days, Dior was already known as a talented designer and wanted his name attached to a new brand instead of revitalizing an old line as originally proposed by Boussac. This was a successful move! Brosmer modeled swimsuits for the brand. One photo of her appeared on a spreadsheet beside Marilyn Benedict, another sought-after model.

During the early ‘50s, Betty Brosmer also won a number of beauty pageants. She was only 16 years old when she was given the title of “Miss Television.” She was also given the chance to appear in TV Guide. She has won other contests such as “Miss Blue Eyes” and “Miss Jones Beach.” If you ask her about her success in these pageants to how weights have shaped her physique. It was around this time that she made rounds on a couple of popular programs such as shows by Jackie Gleason, Milton Berle, and Steve Allen.
