Sabrina Fein
Meteorologist Sabrina Fein, a recipient of the AMS award, has dreamed of broadcasting the weather on television since high school, after witnessing Hurricane Andrew in Miami. Through this time, Sabrina realized how vital a television meteorologist was to the protection of a community. Sabrina, a graduate of the University of Miami, studied meteorology and minored in physics and mathematics. She has also recently returned to Graduate School and earned a Social Media Certificate from the University of Florida. Sabrina’s career began in Tornado Alley, where she worked in Springfield, MO, and Lubbock, TX. She moved to the Sunshine State for jobs in West Palm Beach, Fort Myers, and Orlando before moving west to San Diego as the CW6 Chief Meteorologist.
Sheena Parveen
Sheena Parveen was born in India on May 23, 1987. Sheena Parveen is a well known American meteorologist who works for the NBC10 News alongside Charissa Thompson. Over the years, Parveen has been the news network’s weather anchor and forecaster. Sheena attended Florida State University, where she studied the Science of Meteorology. Sheena joined WCTV in Tallahassee, Florida, to begin working as a journalist and a weather forecaster. She was responsible for hosting weekend shows in the morning, where she presented environment-related news. Until leaving them in November 2009, she worked with the network for several years. Sheena Parveen then became a weather forecaster with WTVT. She was the one to present the Sunday morning show ‘Pet Adoption’ while working for the network. For only two years, she worked with the channel and left them to pursue her study field, ‘Meteorology.’ As a meteorologist in Philadelphia, she joined the NBC network in December 2011. She is considered one of the brightest in the business.
