In a question and answer session with CBS, “Everybody has their opinions, everybody is entitled to their opinions,” said Whitney, co-owner of Fat Joe’s. Whitney as well goes on to say she as well as her management group managed to make the decision to let Brittany go home but they didn’t actually fire her.

Some staff members at the diner decided to show the Wallenders screen captures of the thread Brittney had done about the incident on Facebook prior to the team meeting that Sunday morning. While Fat Joe’s was not directly mentioned in the thread, Tad Wallender said Brittany’s Facebook account listed Fat Joe’s as her workplace. This, he stated, directly linked together the post as well as the restaurant.
