Throughout 1979, Mindy Cohn became one of Edna Garrett’s students, Natalie Green, for The Facts of Life. Cohn remained entirely on the television series until 1988. Her involvement as Natalie was quite progressive, breaking quite a few frontiers which would seldom come close to physical appearance, relationship issues, and adoption. While Natalie Green was widely acknowledged for her personality, she was comfortable with a stable image of herself, trying to say, “Who wants to be a skinny pencil? I’d rather be a happy marker of magic!”

The 43rd place in a VH1 List of 100 Greatest Stars was won by Mindy Cohn’s work as Natalie on The Facts of Life. In 1986, she appeared in The Boy Who Could Fly after the Facts of Life, as she did in other widely known TV shows such as Charles in Charge, and 21 Jump Street. In her latest projects, Cohn spoke in the Scooby-Doo film series from 2002 to 2015 as Velma Dinkley. She also appeared and played Thelma in Hollywood Dirt.
