The Priestley House – Canton, Mississippi
In 1852, Dr. James Priestley commissioned this impressive mansion close to Canton, Mississippi. It was built in the Georgian style and had everything that a classic Southern estate would need. It has an office, a parlor, a library, a terrace, a music room, a greenhouse, and a swimming pool. After restoration was complete, it was placed on the market for nearly a million bucks. Sadly, it has not found a buyer yet. You see, ghostly rumors also plague it. The diaries of Dr. Priestley even talk about the paranormal activity!
