Henry Kissinger – Age 96
Henry Kissinger became the advisor to President Nixon and Ford. He earned the Nobel Peace Prize, but the public did not think he deserved it and believed that his dealings with Vietnam had not been successful. When it was confirmed that the people were right, he didn’t think twice about returning his award. Henry was also well recognized for being a diplomat and a political scientist. He had earned about twenty million dollars throughout his career, which he had enjoyed throughout his retirement.
Jimmy Carter – Age 94
Jimmy Carter was born in Georgia and enlisted in the Navy on submarines. Carter was deeply opposed to racial discrimination and was motivated to be a civil rights activist. He became president in 1977 and ordered the foundation of the education and energy departments. Jimmy shifted from his political career to the promotion of charitable causes. Until now, he still advocated civil rights through the Carter Center.
