Contrary to popular belief, just because a tv series is popular does not necessarily imply that it is “fake.” An overwhelming number of contestants, including Daniel Esquivel and Jack Mackenroth, have expressed dissatisfaction with the judging portion of the competition. Esquivel has spoken out particularly about how the show’s producers reportedly tailored it to severe sensationalize the contestants, which is something Esquivel has previously expressed concern about.

This tv series swiftly rose to the top of the ratings. The team, which was led by business owner Buddy Valastro, created stunning and intricate cake designs for us to marvel at and enjoy. However, in reality, things aren’t quite as dramatic as they appear to be on the surface. As a starting point, Valastro only visits the shop when they are filming something. Some of the events, such as weddings, are also performed live.
