We know it isn’t the most comfortable thing to be tackled by your dog. They might have injured you by doing this in the past. They don’t want to hurt you, however. This is their way of showing you that they’re happy to see you. They literally cannot contain their excitement.

Flicking Ears
A dog that flicks its ears means it’s listening. It’s common behavior with animals, in fact. It happens mostly when they’re unfamiliar with a sound and are trying to figure it out. Let your dog try and figure things out for a second when you see this happening.
