Daniel Henney (Matt Simmons)
Before he joined the cast of Criminal Minds, Daniel Henney first appeared in a spinoff called Beyond Borders. He snagged the part of Matt Simons, who is an army veteran and Special Operations Agent. He did not waste time getting new gigs when the show came to an end. He went on to work on The Wheel of Time, as well as a film called Confidential Assignment.

It is not a stretch to say that A.J. Cook had an eventful time on the set of Criminal Minds as Jennifer “JJ” Jareau. She began as the media liaison of the team and later became a field agent, wife, mom, and kidnapping victim. Even though she left in the sixth season, she was always a hit among the fans. After her contract was dropped, the actress took the chance to enjoy time away from the limelight.
