There might be plenty of police procedurals out there, but not many have worked on as many cases as the crew of Criminal Minds has. CBS debuted the TV show in 2005, only pulling the plug on it after 15 seasons with 324 episodes. It even earned a couple of spinoffs on top of that! When Thomas Gibson took on the role of Aaron Hotchner, it looked like he was ready to see the show to its very end. In 2016, however, his character was written off in the third season with no warning. This took the fans by surprise as the actor was a fan favorite. His character was the firm yet lovable leader of the team. In reality, he was cut off the show after he allegedly assaulted one of the writers in the middle of a feud about the show. Since then, he has been focusing on The Writer’s Bible.
