One of the key components of Coyote Ugly is the tabletop dancers! All of them had to be gorgeous, and hiring one of the top-paid models in the world is definitely a smart move. Tyra Banks was cast as Zoe, and many of the film’s promotional ads featured the famous model. Tyra didn’t really appear that often in the film, but her character is memorable since she’s Tyra Banks! Before this, the model had appeared on the show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, showing everyone that she could act.

Since Coyote Ugly was released, Tyra has truly blossomed. She was a guest-star in the film, but she is now a full-blown TV personality. At the start of the Millenium, she appeared on The Price is Right and MADtv. She even starred in Life-Size, the Disney-made-for-TV film. When The Tyra Banks Show and America’s Next Top Model became successful, her fame also took off. Her modeling competition TV show has gone international, and she has appeared in many other series. She also hosted America’s Got Talent and has landed a new hosting gig via Dancing with the Stars.
