Mr. Wrestling II
While Mr. Wrestling II started wrestling in 1956, he only really made it big in the early ‘70s. This was around the same time that a character called Johnny Walker was introduced. Back then, he had to compete with a mask. He was successful and was one of the most popular American wrestlers of the time. Sadly, he passed away early this year.

How awesome is it that CM Punk is a mixed martial artist on top of being a pro wrestler? Phillip Jack Brooks is his real name. He eventually left wrestling so that he can focus on MMA. He once said that he did not plan to return, but he eventually ate his words because he made a masked comeback!
