Samantha waited for them to finish talking. She washed up and returned back to her work clothes. However, when she looked for Nancy, she was greeted with a subtle hostility. She didn’t know what was happening, but she thanked her for the clothes and promised to put them in the laundry. She also said she would return it as soon as possible. However, this made Nancy furious. “No!” she said. “Keep it.” She smiled, but it wasn’t friendly at all.
