Alex Wilson
Alex Wilson is a product of Syracuse University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Marketing. She also studied Meteorology at Penn State University. After graduation, she worked at WHNS-TV in South Carolina. Eventually, she transferred to WVNS-TV and WOWK-TV in West Virginia before joining The Weather Channel, where she is currently working at. She started at The Weather Channel in March 2013. Her partner in the afternoon news from 3 PM to 6 PM is David Shwartz.

Mayte Carranco
Her hopes of becoming a singer may not have materialized precisely as planned, but things are still going well for Mayte Carranco. She was discovered when she won a beauty pageant. Although she was not discovered to become a singer, she was offered to join the News Televisa crew. Mayte is from Monterrey in Mexico, state of Nuevo Leon. Her beauty, brains, and talent had also helped her bag the title of Miss Televisa Monterrey in 2009. She has now slowed down ever since!
