Evelyn Taft is an American meteorologist, news editor, journalist, and director. Evelyn is the Chief Weekend Meteorologist for KCAL-TV. At the age of 16, Evelyn began hosting her show. Since graduating, she worked as a news anchor and as a weather anchor in KCOY-TV in 2006. She has spent her time in several Santa Barbara CountyWildfires papers. She was in KCOY until 2008. She got to work during this period in a series named ‘Military Minute,’ which won the National Army Guard’s Appreciation Award. In Los Angeles, she joined a crew in Studio City at KCAL-TV / CBS2. And she has since worked in KCAL9. Besides meteorology, she has also worked for this channel as an anchor, news editor, director, and journalism.
