She also joined Miss America, where she ended as a runner-up. Lissette is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in Meteorology. The initial stages of her career started at CNS4 News in Miami in 2007. Her next move was working at Prime News at KTLA in Los Angeles. Lisette is also passionate about her community. She would be invited to South Florida to visit different schools and discuss the value of education.
