Thornberry, a member of the local congressional delegation, decided to publish a public statement addressing the current situation. On the other side, he was completely uninformed and was oblivious of any of the facts. Rep. Thornberry had previously remarked that Billie was a brave soldier, and she then proceeded to make incorrect remarks and present incorrect information. Because his team had provided him with incorrect information, he was forced to issue a second statement as well as a public statement to Peggy. He apologized for propagating false information.

Due to the mismanagement of information, Peggy was thrust into the same urgent situation she had been in before: determining what had happened to her husband. She had no notion she’d soon have access to reliable leads. ALton Harvey, Billie’s cousin, had the answers, and the truth was on its way.
