Miller, like any other good pet owner, was concerned about Crosby. In despair, he stroked the dog, which was the only time Crosby had snapped out of a trance-like state. Boy, what is it? He asked the dog as he stared into those enormous eyes. Miller was just relieved to see that it was all right for Crosby. Maybe he’d been staring at a bug. It turned out to be even larger than that in the end!

Before going to work, he returned home to drop it off. Once he got back, Miller did not look at the footage, determined to do it the following day to capture even more footage. He only wanted to find out what was happening to his pet!

He saw that at a certain point near the floor, the wooden paneling had gotten loose, so he broke it. The drywall, to his surprise, had a hole in it. Miller squeezed his hand into it after taking a deep breath, until his elbow was totally inside the wall. His eyes grew in disbelief as he felt around himself.

Pieces of drywall spilled onto the floor, but there was something else he could feel. Before pulling it out, he took hold of whatever it was with as much care as he could. It was nothing more than just a handful of drywall, dirt, and insulation, to his dismay. But once the screams became more urgent, he knew he was getting warmer. Miller cleared the dirt so that he could shove his arm down the hole even deeper.

He used his hand with great caution to feel around the location. Finally, his fingers made contact with an object that was soft and small. Miller assumed it was once again nothing more than wall insulation. But as soon as he heard a high-pitched whine coming from it, he changed his mind! This was how Miller found out that between the washroom and the living room there was a kitten hiding inside the wall paneling. On his own, the situation was already bizarre enough, but he was shocked to see the baby look like a late feline friend of Crosby’s. Miller had no clue, on top of that how the kitten landed in that spot. He could not help but wonder if there was anything Crosby had to do with it!

Miller saw how dusty she was after pulling the kitten from there. He was confused about how she really got there. Could there be a mother close by? If so, perhaps she was searching for this little one. Miller needed the best course of action to be figured out. What he knew was that there was no way for the kitten to enter the house alone. His guess was that she was snuck in by Crosby because the dog was feeling lonely.

To clean the kitten, Miller took the time. He wiped all the dust out of her fur with a damp cloth. When he looked at Crosby, he discovered that the dog was looking happy and vigorously wagging his tail. The kitten must have been eight weeks old at most from the look of things. The truth was that Miller had no idea how to take care of her. He hoped the real owners were searching for the kitten.

He began to look for the owners of the kittens right after this. Unfortunately, his attempts did not bear any fruit. He talked and hung up posters with his neighbors. Despite this the kitten was not claimed by anyone. A couple of neighbors said they saw her in the streets, so she’s got to be a stray one. Miller brought her to the vet after this.

The kitten was inspected by the vet, but it seemed like she was in perfect health! The only problem was that she was filthy and ravenous, which could be fixed easily. The vet told Miller after scanning the back of her neck that she did not have a chip either. Even after posting her photo on the neighborhood’s Facebook group, no one reached out to claim it. Soon enough a difficult decision would have to be made by Miller.

Crosby clearly enjoyed his feline friend’s company. The dog began to return to his old, joyful self! That was a nice thing to see but Miller didn’t want a cat. He was talking to the vet about putting her in a shelter. He was crushed by it but he knew it was the right thing to do. But something caused him to change his mind!

He said, “The vet basically told me that if I took her to the shelter she’d be put down because there are already over 300 kittens at the county shelter alone that need homes.” Nobody would be delighted to hear something like that. “He said I could try putting her outside and hope she goes home, or I could keep her.”

He made up his mind, after hearing this, that he was going to keep the kitten. Crosby was thrilled to see what was going on when he went home with the newest member of the family. Finally, he was finally going to have an animal companion at home. The kitten, on the other hand, now has a loving home. Miller decided to have Lil Ray-Ray call her. He will probably be paying more attention to Crosby in the future!

Things would have ended so much faster had the dog demonstrated more trust in them. Loreta and Eldad wanted this mission to be a success, even though it was not proving to be easy. However they were not going to do it by force. Simply that was out of the question.

Once more, Loreta wanted to make sure that the dog would remain calm. If it ran off frightened, things would get worse. From that moment on, she clearly had to figure out a different tactic. Now that their first two plans failed to get this poor creature out of that dark spot, what else could they do?

The stray dog must have assumed that where she was, she was safe. The German Shepherd Mix had been hiding beneath the parked vehicle when they found her. It was located between two structures. How Eldad managed to secure the area with a net that would prevent the dog from leaving was a good thing.

The dog had to come out of the spot after some time. Loreta and Eldad would have been able to bring her to safety once this had occurred. But how much time did it take for this to happen? They were going to play the game of waiting, so they made sure that their timetable was empty. Waiting was the only thing to do now.

One of the exits was guarded by Eldad. Loreta, on the other hand, has secured the other one. It was a good thing that using their phone, he documented the mission. The video showed them trying to talk the dog out of there to get out. No matter what, they were determined to turn the mission into a success.

For some time the dog continued whining. Luckily, after a little while, they eventually started listening to them. Out of hiding and into the open area, Loreta tried to coax it. When they heard the dog cry, it broke their hearts, but things started looking up for them soon enough.

The dog kept its huge ears low. This can be taken to mean that at that moment it was truly afraid. The rescuers understood and gave some time for the pooch to regain its cool.
