Pool toys as well as inner tubes make time wasted in the water so much more enjoyable and relaxing…until you want to get out of them. There are very few ways to get out of your water toy, particularly if it’s shaped like a flamingo. There are far worse places to dispose of an inner tube, but this one appears to be quite unpleasant (and highly memorable).

That is not a scene from the film Jaws; it’s a photo taken in reality! You’d think that a symbol like this would stay everybody out of the water, but as you’ll see, a possible shark contact didn’t deter many beachgoers. We can resist the desire to have your feet wet if it was your only opportunity to get in the water during your vacation. Is it, however, really worth the risk of a shark attack? Hopefully, everyone who was in the water was unharmed.
