Not A Good Day
Baker greeted the cashier respectfully, who welcomed him back with such an appearance that strongly resembles frustration and perhaps irritation. She had been munching gum and did look as though she was not having a decent day, evidently. Even so, while ordering his meals, he persisted in smiling. He did understand that life has not always been rainbows as well as apple drops, as Baker absolutely loved to make people smile when he could. However, it was definitely not for this employee.

Baker ordered and then was shocked to hear her tell that it was impossible to produce his initial order. He was unhappy, but some other choices were still available. He switched to his second option, which was once again not available. Befuddled, he glanced at the list and requested the only other meal he desired at the restaurant. She started rolling her eyes, repeating her previous reply.
