If you ever dive into a mystery by Agatha Christie, it is best to assume that there is a twist somewhere in there. However, we do not think that we would have ever guessed the answer to this whodunnit. After all, we have never before heard of a murder mystery where the answer is everyone on the suspect list!

In the end, this is a movie about forgiveness. However, we only figure this out after a huge revelation. Near the end, we find out that Robbie and Cecilia did not actually reunite since he died at war, while she died in a bombing incident. The entire time, we were watching the ending that Briony wrote for them.
