This movie was quite ahead of its time when it comes to the way it depicted virtual reality. Open Your Eyes follows a man who, at the end of the movie, is revealed to be dead. He took his own life and got a thing called Life Extension. It is a classic twist, but we have never seen it approached like that!

The bromance genre must have started in this 1973 movie. In The Sting, the story revolves around a pair of best pals played by Paul Newman and Robert Redford. When the two of them figure out who the rat is, they fake their deaths, which shocked not only the FBI officer but the viewers as well!
