The conversation then moved on to how Wonder was treated by his neighbors as he grew up. He also admitted, with a laugh, that his piano skills were not well-known in his neighborhood. “I was known as the blind boy who was always making noise, beating on walls, hitting on boxes, singing and playing the bongos from morning till sunset on the front porch,” the musical icon said. “People were like, ‘Give us a break.’”
