Meet The K-911
You probably do not give it much thought, but there are airports in danger of having wild animals run across the runway. When this has happened in the past, airport personnel relied on traps to make sure that the animals do not go where they shouldn’t be in. However, Cherry Capital Airport in Michigan wanted to try another tactic. They hired Piper, a Border Collie, to run around the perimeter of the airport. His task is to chase these wild animals away and keep the passengers safe from harm.

Man, this kind of picture should come with a warning that it can induce a panic attack. There are so many broken airline safety rules in the photo that it is bound to lead to a huge collision. It was a good thing that it is actually photoshopped by a photographer called Mike Kelley. He titled it “Wake Turbulence” and shows all the flights that depart from LAX in California. Overall, he took 400 images and then combined them all in one.
