While Selena Gomez is one of the biggest pop stars of this generation, she has to thank her mother, Amanda Teefy. Amanda made her way back to the top as a teen mom to help Selena. Eventually, she was willing to start up her own production business and support her daughter in her goal of getting in front of the cameras. Teefy is currently making one of the most successful Netflix shows, 13 Explanations Why. The show was initially pushed back because of the difficult themes it had but was eventually green-lighted. Today, it has been a beacon of young people’s understanding of mental wellbeing.

Sigourney Weaver and her daughter, Charlotte Simpson, have a really close friendship. In an interview in 2017, Weaver revealed that she’s always been overly attached to Charlotte and a gooey. It may be because Simpson is the only child of “The Sci-Fi Queen” (as she is known) with stage director Jim Simpson. Perhaps it could also be that being a working mother while her husband stayed at home, raising a girl, always made her feel guilty. The reality, however, is that Charlotte grew up to be a nice lady. She is known for her work at the 2014 Film Summit, where she is credited as a makeup artist with special effects.
