Both William Shatner and his daughter Malanie had a major break in the Star Trek franchise. Although Daddy Shatner portrayed Captain James T. Kirk for three seasons, Shatner’s daughter played an unrecognized role in The Voyage Home and an unrecognized part in The Final Frontier by William Shatner. William became a cult player to play Captain Kirk and even played the protagonist in the ’80s action movie, T.J. Hooker. Melanie is well known for her appearance in the Horror Subspecies video series. She has a broad catalog of appearances in several shows, including an episode of Tekwars, based on stories published by William Shatner.

The surname Sinatra is commonly synonymous with the legendary crooner Frank Sinatra. But My Way’s singer had a daughter called Nancy, who sang her own signature album, hit These Boots Are Made For Walking in 1966. Although Nancy was seamlessly absorbed into the music industry, her daughter, AJ Lambert, who was born in 1974, took longer to enter the family business. She was kept down by a combination of depression (now sober), motherhood, and the burden of her family name. But she eventually agreed to pursue her family tradition, and in January 2019, at the age of 44, she launched her grandfather’s popular song collection, Careful You.
