Sara Gilbert initially exploded into the TV scene as Darlene in the Roseanne hit series. She played Dan’s daughter and the holder character has established a reputation for being an overtly masculine, young girl sitcom character. Evidently, producers almost didn’t select Gilbert since they didn’t really think she was adorable at all. It’s absolutely the correct call, but Gilbert managed to bring a certain amount of gravity to the character which most child stars just can not perform.

Over the years, Sara Gilbert has been involved in the world of TV, shows like 24, ER, and Twins, to mention a very few. Sure, the great actress managed to win her work as Leslie Winkle in the hit-sitcom The Big Bang Theory with her Roseanne co-star Johnny Galecki, winning entirely new viewers. She as well took back her character as Darlene for the Roseanne, The Conners series, that has been subjected to poor reviews ever since.
