Soleil Moon Frye – Then
At the age of two, Soleil Moon Frye began acting. Her first TV film was Missing Children: a Mother’s Story and was made public in 1982. In making-for-TV movies, Frye continued working as a young actress until after she finished her career as a child. Only at age of seven, Frye competed for NBC’s Punky Brewster title character and outscored 3,000 young women. Frye’s character, Punky, was a huge success among the children, while the series continued to struggle with viewing figures.
Soleil Moon Frye – Now
Punky Brewster was with NBC for only two seasons before even being forced to cancel and then taken by Columbia Pictures Television for two more seasons. Soleil Moon Frye has therefore made her fair contribution to working to express her leading role in It’s Punky Brewster and Zoey’s character in The Proud Family. In the 1990s and recent times she also had some sitcom appearances on the show and decided to add directing and writing to her portfolio.
