After Bob Hope saw her at a local fashion show in 1973, Priscilla Barnes received her major breakthrough. She relocated to Los Angeles soon thereafter and eventually took small roles in movies like The New Original Wonder Woman, The Seniors, and Delta Fox. Throughout 1981, Barnes was cast on Three’s Company as Terri Alden, the permanent replacement for Suzanne Somers. Even though she had battled for big roles in films, Barnes had become immediately recognizable when she did join the Three Company.

Priscilla Barnes was on E in 1998! True Hollywood Story, where she showed her “three worst years” of life at Three’s Company, that she was continually “uncomforted” on stage and even tried to ask to be removed from the agreement, which was refused. Although Terri Alden will always be Barnes’ greatest important role, she surely has had her good proportion of accomplishment, with quite a number of supporting roles in tv and film.
