There are a couple of coins with minting errors that can fetch a good sum of money. Sadly, wheat pennies will not be worth much. These pennies earned their nicknames because of the wheat imagery on them. Even though they are rare, they are not very valuable. At the very least, you should be able to swap them for a couple of modern ones. Others remain hopeful that the trend will change in the future.

They are no longer novel nor rare sights at dinner parties or on the red carpet. This availability has turned costume jewelry into a bad investment. Of course, the exception to the rule would be a coveted luxury designer piece.
