Tom Selleck is known by many names like Thomas Magnum, Police Chief Jesse Stone, Dr. Richard Burke, and NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan. And let’s not forget that iconic mustache. Since Tom Selleck is one of the most respected actors in Hollywood, it surely brings in a lot of things that we don’t know about him actually. Things about his personal life that he wouldn’t want coming out – details about his lawsuit, his relationship with his daughter and co-stars – we have all the gossip Selleck didn’t want fans to know. Let’s talk about his achievements, his past loves and works done, but also the flaws this actor has.

The Skinny on Tom Selleck, A Hollywood Legend
Dreamer
Tom Selleck and his family relocated to California from Detroit, a big leap for the young, small town kid. His mother was a housewife and his father, a real estate investor. He learnt a disciplined work ethic from them in his youth, something that has stuck with him all these years. Something he has passed down to his own daughter. When speaking of his mother’s recent passing in 2017, Selleck explained, “She’s always been there and always been very fair — even when she said, ‘Wait till your father gets home,’ which usually was for good reason.”

Dreamer
Not The NBA
Selleck earned a basketball scholarship to the University of Southern California but in order to pay the bills, he had a side gig as a model. Now, he was actually pursing a degree in Business Administration when his drama coach urged him to give acting a try. Man, was that good advice! And Selleck heeded it as he began to study with the brilliant Milton Katselas at the Beverly Hills Playhouse.

Not The NBA
My Country
Now that is quite surprising! From 1967 to 1973, he worked in the US army, isn’t he a real dark horse? In his service, he was in the 160th infantry regiment of the California army national guard. Selleck has previously said, “I am a veteran, I’m proud of it. I was a sergeant in the U.S. Army infantry, National Guard, Vietnam era. We’re all brothers and sisters in that sense.”

My Country
Influence
When Selleck turned 70, he called it a defining moment because that was the first time in his life, after his father’s passing in 2011, he really felt like a grown man. “I had had a lot of leadership positions, I had been in the military…but you know, in my case, when my father died, I go, ‘There’s nobody to go to for fatherly advice. You’re on your own, pal’,” Selleck revealed.

Influence
Only The Start
As you know, Selleck was working as a model but it was his drama coach and college fraternity brothers that pushed him to audition for The Dating Game. Sometimes it takes just a piece of advice to become a sensation, and that’s all it took for Tom Selleck. Thanks to his stint on the 60’s show, Pepsi called him to star in their commercial film. He was virtually an overnight sensation. Hold on, it is just the beginning for this legend.

Only The Start
Opportunity
Twentieth Century Fox wanted to sign Selleck after all the attention he was generating and their talent department was particular about him not signing any other show. And Selleck, well he was no fool either, he grabbed this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity immediately and showed up at the training class the very next day. Quite a smart move!

Opportunity
Soap Opera Kid
Next, on the hit soap opera The Young and the Restless, he took a minor role as Jed Andrews. Perhaps his role followed him to the real world as well cause all of those love triangles he played out in the show seemed to mirror him in real life. That’s some serious foreshadowing!

Tom Selleck
Beginnings
At the age of 35, he grabbed his biggest lead role in Magnum as Thomas Magnum. This was a role that was a long time coming. After years of odd jobs in Hollywood, he finally landed his big break. He flew to Hawaii for the role but the shoot got delayed for six months due to a writer’s strike! And you know what? He worked as a handyman just to earn money during this time. Sometimes you have to do what’s necessary and that’s something Selleck wasn’t squirmy about.

Beginnings
Magnum P.I.
Magnum P.I., no doubt was a big show as it went off air after 163 successful episodes. That’s eight seasons of Magnum’s Detroit cap, Hawaiian t-shirts, red Ferrari, mustache, the colt model and caliber pistol. All classics that any die-hard fan can recognize in a heartbeat.

Magnum P.I.
They See Me Rollin’
Speaking of Thomas Magnum and his red Ferrari… As a tall guy, it created a dilemma for the producers because they wanted Thomas to drive around in a Porsche but his tall height made it seriously problematic. Ergo, the classic Red Ferrari we all know and love replaced the Porsche. You can say that sales for Ferrari jumped once Magnum was seen driving it around.

They See Me Rollin
Nothing But Respect
In 1996, Selleck’s co-star from Magnum, Larry Manetti, published Aloha Magnum, his memoir. Within his memoir, one would expect scandalous dirt to come out about Hollywood’s most beloved actor. However the opposite is true. He said nothing but incredible things about Selleck! Especially when it came to Selleck’s work ethic during shooting, his work with charities, and how he stuck up for fellow cast and crew.

Nothing But Respect
Star!
Don’t be surprised to learn that Tom Selleck has his own Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 1986 he was graced with the honor and it just goes to show just how much his time on Magnum P.i. boosted his career. 6925 Hollywood Blvd is where you need to be if you want to see it.

Star
One, Two
There is no way anyone but Tom Selleck could play the lead in Magnum, P.I., however he almost didn’t get the part. The producers had someone else in mind, Kevin Dobson. Dobson was an established TV star, but he turned the role down in the end. Lucky break for Selleck!

One Two
A Miss
While filming Magnum P.I., Selleck was not really allowed to work on any other project. And seeing as how his popularity was skyrocketing, that’s a pretty tough fact to digest. Especially when you land the lead role of Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Selleck had to unfortunately turn the part down because it conflicted with his Magnum schedule. However, get this, filming for Magnum P.I. was actually delayed which meant that he could have done the Steven Spielberg/George Lucas blockbuster hit. What an unlucky break.

A Miss
Swing And A Miss
Turns out that Selleck was asked to star opposite Julie Andrews in Victor/Victoria, a 1982 film. At the time Selleck was apprehensive to take on the role, by the time he did decide he wanted it, it was too late. He was already locked in for his Magnum contract, the very same one that cost him the role of Indiana Jones.

Swing And A Miss
Creative Team
Given his relationship with the creative team, Selleck voiced some concerns about how his character was initially portrayed. Without hesitation, he spoke to the creative and luckily had his character modified to an average and approachable guy instead of a James Bondish charming appearance. This was the perfect change for the storyline, who knows if it would have been successful without Selleck’s request?

Creative Team
First Wife
Tom Selleck and former model Jacqueline Ray married after dating for one year but applied for a divorce after 11 years of marriage. He has an adopted son, Kevin, with whom he remains in touch even after the divorce. That’s pretty remarkable, not many men would continue to maintain such a relationship but not many men are like Tom Selleck.

First Wife
A Superstar of It’s Own
Undoubtedly you know about his signature mustache? That’s a rhetorical question obviously. He is recognized all over the globe and the mustache really deserves its very own museum display. You won’t recognize him when he has shaved it off, it’s too in tune with his overall character. But there’s one celebrity he used to get confused with, and the who is surprising.

A Superstar of It’s Own
Agree to Disagree
Sometimes Tom Selleck would be mistaken for other actors, and all because of his mustache. In fact, there was one actor he was confused with ~all~ the time. “There was a time I could have been mistaken for Burt Reynolds. I had a mustache and so did he. But he was the number one star in the world, so there wasn’t really much confusion.” I mean, you could have fooled me.

Agree To Disagree
Ay Baby
Just a year before Magnum would go off air, Selleck starred in the hit comedy movie Three Men and a Baby, alongside Steve Guttenberg and Ted Danson. Thanks to his role in Magnum, Selleck’s career was looking pretty darn amazing however this film helped to propel it even more. In fact, the flick was the biggest motion picture box office hit of that year, grossing more than $170 million in the United States.

Ay Baby
Small Role
His wife and parents both appeared on Magnum P.I., and even though they had small roles, it’s still pretty awesome that Selleck pulled some strings to make it happen. Jillie Mack appeared in the fourth season, in the Rembrandt’s Girl episode.

Small Role
The Right
Since celebrities don’t talk much about which political parties they’re associated with, it can be hard to know just where they stand. However Selleck was different in his approach as he didn’t hesitate to make his political affiliations known. He openly announced that he is a Republican while endorsing John McCain. He also is a member of National Rifle Association as well as the board of Directors.

The Right
Neither Here Nor There
Even though he’s heavily involved with politics, Selleck didn’t support either candidate in the 2016 Presidential election. Still now he has yet to reveal if he preferred Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. Instead, Selleck chose to pen a letter to former Dallas Police Department Chief David Brown. Why? He wanted to express how much he appreciated the grace and leadership Brown showed during the 2016 Dallas police shooting. What a top guy.

Neither Here Nor There
Cha-Ching
Over his long career, Selleck has appeared in more than 50 films and TV roles. That’s interesting! Even after so much, his net worth concludes to just $25 million, yes you heard that right. Maybe you think $25 million is quite a lot of dough but considering what some stars are getting paid now, it’s really not all that much.

Cha-Ching
Baywatch
Now here’s an interesting tidbit. Selleck was offered a role of Mitch Buchannon in the 90’s TV show Baywatch but he turned it down. As you know that role went to David Hasselhoff. But why did Selleck turn it down? Do you know? Because he did not want to be recognized as a sex symbol! I mean, fair enough.

Baywatch
Dr. Richard Burke
This is really an impressive fact, and perhaps my favorite too. He appeared in one of the most watched shows, Friends, as Dr. Richard Burke, a divorced ophthalmologist who dates Monica Geller, played by Courtney Cox. Plus, he got nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series. Phew, he is such a star!

Dr. Richard Burke
Frank Reagan
He’s recently been playing Frank Reagan, a police commissioner on the TV series Blue Bloods. What’s more, he gets saluted by real officers in the real world, like really? Yes, because when they see a police commissioner, they are meant to salute. Quite respectful, isn’t it?

Frank Reagan
Dad Jokes
Speaking of Frank Reagan, his co-star Donnie Whalberg has publicly talked about his humor. “He can [be funny], yes, usually after he makes sure everyone understands what’s important. It would feel like Christmas on a Tuesday night in August when my dad started telling jokes and it’s the same thing with Tom, when he starts with his oddball jokes and his weird rhymes that he tells from 1930 that are so funny. Everybody feels so much lighter and happier.” That’s beautiful.

Dad Jokes
An Affair To Remember
Before his marriage to Jillian, Selleck was a true heartbreaker. Marie Helvin, a former model, was quite attracted towards him that she even mentioned their steamy in her autobiography. She said this about their fling, “When I visited Hawaii once, Tom Selleck was shooting for Magnum PI. We met and bit of an affair started, then Selleck came to London, we had dinner and went back to his hotel. But the next morning, I sent him a letter to break off this relationship because I was worried about my married life. Later on after a week, he joined Musical Cats backstage and met his wife-to-be.”

An Affair To Remember
Tom and Mimi
Tom and Mimi Rogers were a hot couple before she married the legendary Tom Cruise in 1990. Selleck dated Mimi after his scandalous affair with Marie Helvin, so you can only imagine how the media portrayed their relationship. Quite an interesting year it was for both of them.

Tom And Mimi
Grilled By Rosie
Selleck appeared on Rosie O Donnell’s show while promoting his 1999 film The Love Letter. Instead of focusing on the film, O’Donnell continuously interrogated him about gun ownership to which he finally boldly replied, “It’s your show, and you can talk about it after I leave”.

Grilled By Rosie
Killers
In 2010, Tom Selleck starred alongside Katherine Heigl and Ashton Kutcher in the film Killers. While casting, Kutcher knew he wanted an intimidating actor to play Mr. Kornfeldt. Kutcher explained, “I call Mr. Kornfeldt ‘Sir’ in the script a lot,” he said. “And I was thinking, ‘Who am I going to call Sir?’ Who’s a bigger guy, who’s got an intimidating thing, but doesn’t have to try to be intimidating?” Yup, the one and only Tom Selleck.

Killers
A Break
We all need a break, don’t we? Selleck was so stuck in his work in Magnum, that he hardly could find time for his family and daughter. Work life stressed him out and he needed a break. He felt personal life is crucial more than his work as an actor. You have to admire his dedication to his family, not many people would take a break from one of the biggest roles of their life.

A Break
Hard Times
During an interview, Selleck explained, “I’ve found it very difficult to expose my private life and live with it.” Selleck carried on to say, “It’s important to nurture your marriage. I think wanting time away from work has been good for that.” Isn’t he just the best man and husband?

Hard Times
Reasons Reasons
Recently Tom Selleck sat down for an interview with Closer Weekly. During this sit down, he further revealed his desire to leave Magnum P.I., “Magnum, P.I. went to 163 shows and we still had ground to cover, and I wasn’t tired of it. I was tired from it because I was in every shot.” Right now, his work in Blue Bloods is ideal as he isn’t in every shot meaning that he isn’t required to work every day.

Reasons Reasons
Not The Only Reason
That wasn’t his only reason to quit the series though. “I quit Magnum to have a family,” Selleck said. “It took a long time to get off the train, but I try very hard to have balance.” He was willing to make big sacrifices for his family and has never looked back.

Not The Only Reason
Words of Wisdom
As we mentioned, Selleck has been married twice, but it’s clear to see that wife number two is a keeper. She is, after all, his biggest love. For some 30 years now, Jillie Mack has captured the heart of the star. Recently the star opened up about he believes is the key to a successful marriage, “It’s important to nurture your marriage..I think wanting time away from work has been good for that.”

Words Of Wisdom
I Do
In 1987, Tom Selleck and Jill Mack surprised fans and reporters when they secretly tied the knot! Bob, Selleck’s brother, organized their secret wedding in a 24-hour wedding chapel in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Moreover, when they said “I Do,” they used the aliases “Tom Jenkins” and “Suzie Mark.” Just minutes before the ceremony started, did the minister even learn their true identities!

I Do
Nervous
“They were both nervous, like any other couple about to get married,” revealed Rev. David Immel, the wedding officiant. “He was very concerned that the service be heartfelt, very concerned for her that the service be meaningful. He is a very warm, caring man.” Now that just sounds lovely!

Nervous
My Daughter, Hannah
When it comes to his daughter, Hannah, Tom Selleck is like any other father – insanely proud and filled with buckets of love. During his youth, her parents purposely kept her out of the spotlight as they felt it was the best thing for her. We can understand where they’re coming from. The 29 year old models a little for her friends or sponsors. What sponsors, you ask? Well she is an equestrian so that should answer the question!

My Daughter Hannah
Encouragement
Unlike other celebrities, Hannah wasn’t brought up as a socialite. Her life revolved around the family farm. While she stayed at the farm, she learnt a lot about work hard and her love for horses grew from there. “As a kid they tried to raise me as normally as possible given my dad’s line of work. Those horses have been a great way for me to have my own accomplishments outside of whatever my parents had done,” explained Hannah about her parents.

Encouragement
Our Decision
Raising their family on a 65-acre ranch just seemed like the right thing to do. Jillie Mack said, “We both thought it was the best environment for [Hannah] to grow up.” Certainly her parents know best and seeing how she’s grown up, they made the right call!

Our Decision
Farm Life
Hannah really loves horses which is why she is an equestrian! This passion has transformed her life truly as she says, “I have a small breeding program in California where I’m developing young horses to bring along and sell. It’s a business that so far has been really great and a great experience. It is a very expensive sport, so that is why my dad encouraged and invested in this breeding operation. They have been very supportive. The prices of horses have become astronomical. So that’s why it’s so much more rewarding to bring a horse along on your own.”

Farm Life
How Far?
The Selleck family own and live on a 60 acre avocado farm, as a result, they make sure it is always running smoothly. But just how far would the family, and Tom himself, go to make sure to stays this way? A few years ago, California was suffering from a severe drought, and Tom Selleck broke the law during this time. He hired a truck to transfer about $1.4 million dollars worth of water from a nearby town’s hydrant so that his avocado farm would keep running. It didn’t take long for this crime to catch up with him though.

How Far?
On The Other Side
Subsequently in 2015, Selleck was sued. The Calleguas Municipal Water District applied allegations about his bringing water to the avocado farm illegally. During a private investigation, they uncovered that Selleck’s farm was using a tanker truck from a neighboring district after it filled up from a fire hydrant. District officials claim that Selleck got water from the hydrant some 12 times in two years. Additionally, previously they had sued him when a cease order was simply ignored.

On The Other Side
Settlement
The water district agency hired a private investigator with a whopping amount of $22,000 to file the misconduct toward the farm. But a settlement agreement was then reached, making him pay $21,000, which was enough to cover the investigative costs incurred.

Settlement
Stepson Woes
Tom’s stepson Kevin, from his first marriage, is still really close to the Hollywood legend now. The pair have had a strong bond since Kevin was a teenager. Unfortunately Kevin suffers from many problems, ones that followed him into adulthood, such as a failed music career and financial woes. This has all “hardened” his personality and has also hurt his relationship with Selleck.

Stepson Woes
Coffee Time
Selleck made sure that when he married Jillie, he would be more self-conscious about socializing with other women. And when the Italian bombshell actress Sophia Loren became their neighbor, Jillie was slightly nervous. “If I was on my way to Home Depot and she was out on the driveway in her bathrobe and she said exactly these words: ‘Thomaso, would you like a cappuccino?’ I could go in,” he said. Although we are sure that Selleck has come a long way since his Playboy days.

Coffee Time
Ethics
Even with his fair share of scandals, Selleck has a strong ethical code he follows. “I try very hard to conduct myself in an ethical way, because that’s important to my stability now,” he explained. “We’re a culture that’s so centered on the individual. The culture says that basically nothing is more important than the way you feel.”

Ethics
Raspberry Kiss
In 1993, Selleck appeared as a guest-star on the late night The Chevy Chase Show on Fox. For a skit, asked he be awarded the 1992 Worst Supporting Actor Razzie award for his role of King Ferdinand of Spain in Christopher Columbus: The Discovery. When presented with the Razzie on air, Selleck just made light of the whole situation and asked the studio audience to “blow me a raspberry.”

Raspberry Kiss
Heart of Gold
When the 8th and final season of Magnum, P.I. aired, Universal Studios gave Tom Selleck a bonus of $350,000, which he would spend on extravagant gifts, such as Rolex watches and Porsches. However what’s most noteworthy is that he also gave $1,000 bonuses to the entire cast and crew of Magnum, P.I.. Told you he has a heart of gold.

Heart Of Gold
Good Reason
In an interview back in 1980, someone asked Selleck about refusing a cameo role in the film adaptation of Magnum P.I to which he gave a blunt answer. “I tell you what worries me — because I love “Magnum” and we have loyal fans — is they take these TV show titles, and they buy them and they spend $100 million on special effects, and then they make fun of them and trivialize it. Then they try and get the actor who used to be in it to do some ridiculous cameo to prove to the audience that it’s OK. And I will not do that.”

Good Reason
Spike!
Tom Selleck is more than an accomplished actor, he’s also an indoor and beach volleyball player! In fact, he plays in the outside hitter position for the Outrigger Canoe Club down in Honolulu. A teammate once said, “Tom was a great teammate, appreciative of being included with such a talented and experienced group, practicing and playing hard when his Magnum schedule permitted…. He was very patient with all of us, and we relished the big crowds that replaced the usual sparse number of players’ friends and spouses at the national tourney matches.”

Spike
Say It Ain’t So
1997 is when the unthinkable happened….Tom Selleck shaved his mustache off! NOOOOOO! Okay, I’m calm again. Anyways, he did so for the movie In & Out. Afterwards he didn’t shave it again unless necessary for a role.

Say It Aint So
Broadway
Back in 2001, Selleck played the lead in the Broadway revival of A Thousand Clowns. Critics were quick to bash Selleck’s performance as they felt Jason Robards, Jr. played the part much better, I mean he did win tons of awards for portraying that character. Gardner, the playwright, was quick to say, “Selleck was the way he had always envisioned Murray.”

Broadway
Outdoorsman
Not surprisingly, Selleck is quite the avid outdoorsman, marksman, and firearms collector. All of which made his eager to star in Western films! And star in westerns he did. He appeared in movies such as The Sacketts, The Shadow Riders, Quigley Down Under, and Crossfire Trail.

Outdoorsman
Honor
It isn’t so far fetched to learn that Tom Selleck was genuinely inducted to the International Mustache Hall of Fame back in 2015. Yes, we’re serious. Dead serious. Selleck was added to the category of Film and Television naturally.

Honor
I’ll Be Back
Can you believe that Selleck missed out on the classic role of Indiana Jones AND also as the title role in the 1984 hit film, The Terminator?! Wild. Yes, he did miss out on both because of his Magnum, P.I.. Yikes.

I’ll Be Back
Helping Hand
What isn’t surprising to learn is that Selleck is a huge philanthropist. Huge. Currently he sits on as a board member for The Joseph & Edna Josephson Institute of Ethics; as an advisory board member for the Character Counts Coalition; he is also a spokesman for the National Fatherhood Initiative; a committee member of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts; and even is actively involved with the Student/Sponsor Partnership Program in New York City. That list could be so much longer though, he loves to give back!

Helping Hand
Female Sequel Series
Eva Longoria has come out as the executive producer for creating an all-female spin-off of Magum P.I.! The show would follow Lily, Magnum’s daughter, as she takes over her father’s firm in Hawaii. We can’t wait to learn more about it!

Female Sequel Series
A Spin
Selleck’s iconic Ferrari 308 that he drove during his Magnum PI days was recently up for sale at an Arizona auction. The asking price? A cool $250,000. Plus it even came with a certificate of authentication to prove that Selleck really did used to drive it. It sold for just $181,500.

A Ride
Friends
Dr. Richard Burke is a pretty impressive guy off-screen. Why? Because he ranks as the third greatest guest character on Friends. We’re not surprised by this! Brad Pitt and Paul Rudd are the first two. Also not surprising.

Friends
Changes
Since 2005, he has been playing the role Jesse Stone, a transplanted lawman. This role is from a series that was inspired by a made-for-TV movie based on Robert B. Parker’s novels. Currently there are nine films and recently Selleck himself began to produce episodes. In fact, film five, Jesse Stone: Thin Ice, was not a novel adaptation but rather an original story created by Selleck!

Changes
Commercials
During his long career, Selleck has been asked to star in many commercials. When you’re as well liked as he is, chances are sales are going to boom. So far he’s appeared on screen for Right Guard, AT&T, Florida’s Natural orange juice, and American Advisors Group (AAG).

My Sign
Now seeing as how Selleck was born in January, that makes him an Aquarius. And when someone is an Aquarius, they’ve got some interesting attributes. Such as truthfulness, curious, affectionate, frank, and imaginative. Does that sum up Selleck? We’d say so.

Awards, Awards
While Tom Selleck starred on Magnum, P.I., he would win an Emmy and a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Drama Series. But that’s not all. He earned four People’s Choice Awards, four Emmy nominations, and also six Golden Globe nominations. Told you he was talented!

Awards Awards
Las Vegas
Back 2007, Selleck joined the cast of the TV drama Las Vegas as A.J. Cooper. Cooper is the new owner of the Montecito Casino. Furthermore this was Selleck’s first regular role on a drama series since his days at Magnum P.I.!

Due to Tom Selleck’s outstanding character and ethic, he was actually awarded an honorary doctorate degree from Pepperdine University back in 2000. Nice.

Tigers
From his childhood, Tom Selleck has been an avid, loyal and proud supporter of the Detroit Tigers. There was even a time when he was a minority owner of the team! Now that’s love for the game.

Voice Over
Selleck has worked with narrative as well. He doesn’t just stick to TV and film, folks! Especially with the series North America, which is a natural history documentary. His voice really does add a touch of life to the series and helps to enhance the storytelling flow. But that’s a given.

Voiceover
Classy
If you’re ever at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C., there’s one stop you need to make. You have to check out their display of Magnum’s iconic Hawaiian shirt. That’s right! The same shirt he wore during filming was donated to the museum.

In February 2009, Tom Selleck joined the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund when he became the national spokesman for the new Education Center which was built on the National Mall.

In 2002, Selleck was asked to talk about his career in an interview. He revealed that he loves that his character on Blue Bloods and the whole Reagan family are visibly practicing Catholics, while he is not very religious himself.

Cats
After Tom Selleck got divorced, he was understandably lonely. At the time he was filming in London and his crew-mates took him to see the musical ‘Cats’ as he mentioned he wanted to watch it. However after the first show, Selleck went back over a dozen times! Why did the Hollywood actor keeping going back though?

Cats
The Star
Well he kept going back because he was smitten with Rumpleteazer. Oh, and it was 25-year-old Jillie Joan Mack who was portraying Rumpleteazer! Selleck introduced himself and they eventually made dinner plans. With Mack’s ‘Cats’ contract ending, she had a lot of time to see Selleck and that’s precisely what they did.

The Star
Bold Move
Eventually Mack didn’t have anything tying her to London so she decided to move to Hawaii! Together this couple walked the red carpet and always looked incredibly in love. Mack was also there when Selleck got his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Bold Move
Stronger Together
For 30+ years now, this couple have been husband and wife. Selleck gave an interview with NY Daily News and said, “Jillie and I have a pretty good partnership. We don’t do anything or make any decisions without consulting each other.” He continued to say, “And if one of us makes a decision involving Hannah, the other parent completely supports that position, even if you disagree.”

Stronger Together
Lots Of Love
Tom Selleck has been laying low for a while, but not because of any negative reason. But because he wants to only focus on his family. He had quite a Playboy image, but that’s all in the past. Jillie and Hannah are all he cares about.

Lots Of Love
New Magnum PI
Although we all really wished that Tom Selleck would return to his famous role in Magnum PI when the new series started, we were all pretty upset. Selleck explained to TV Guide Magazine what he said when he was approached about the show. “Absolutely not. I’m busy with Blue Bloods.” He continued, “It will never be what in my fantasy world, I would make it to be.”

New Magnum PI
Love Story
Looks like the second time was a charm! Selleck and Jillie Mack married a year before Magnum P.I. aired its final season and they’ve been together ever since. They have a daughter together named Hannah, and the family lives in California.
