4. Use A Tape To Achieve A Perfect Caulk Edge
If you ever tried to use caulk but couldn’t find out how to do the ideal edge, using a painter’s tape can help you achieve the perfect caulk edge. Applying the masking tapes before caulking and pulling it off while the caulk is wet would leave you the ideal straight line you’re aiming for.
5. Use A Potato To Unscrew Your Broken Lightbulbs
Removing a broken lightbulb could be more comfortable and safer with the use of potatoes. Using a potato, chopped in half, gently press the chopped side into the damaged bulb and slightly turn it all in the loosening direction. As you turn it, the shattered glass would be slowly absorbed by the potato and loosen it from the socket. Make sure that power was switched off, and protective gloves were used while doing this.
