Coating these metal items with some clear nail polish will stop rusting from forming.

39. Remove Old Wallpaper
If old rooms weren’t bad enough, covering them with horrible wallpaper could make things worse. Saying that any space can be improved with new wallpaper or a fresh coat of paint is as easy as it sounds, but taking down wallpaper is never easy. Mixing equal parts of hot water and vinegar can make things easier. Just soak a paint roller in the mixture for a few minutes before rolling it over the wallpaper a couple of times. Then, the wallpaper should come off quickly.
