A New Chapter
Let me give you a bit of a background on how Narvel and Reba started their relationship. In the middle of 1980, Narvel Blackstock used to be very well-known for being the steel guitar player of the band that Reba used to sing for – that was their very first interaction. 1987 came around, Narvel was already managing Reba, and that was the reason why they had the chance to talk to each other about different things. During the same year, Reba McEntire was still recovering from the divorce that she and her former husband, Charlie Battles had. She had no one to talk to, but there was Narvel, who was always ready to listen and comfort her.

Tying The Knot
Two years after creating a deeper connection with each other, Narvel Blackstock and Reba McEntire decided to tie the knot. Both of them were in the happiest moments of their lives. Reba gladly accepted the chance to become a great stepmother to all of Narvel Blackstock’s children. A few years later, they got pregnant, and Reba eventually gave birth to their son, Shelby Blackstock. Narvel and Reba also became successful together – they even managed to establish their very own music company, Starstruck.
