The Lone Suitcase
The story of Harriet happened immediately after EasyJet mistakenly flew the luggage of an 88-year-old lady from Luton to Bordeaux. The bags made it to another place, but the owner was left behind at the airport. Joy Burton was someone who resided in Bedfordshire. The lady arrived at the airport with plenty of time to spare before her flight to Southwest France.

Family Visit
Joy Burton decided to fly over to Bordeaux because she wanted to visit her two sons. One of her children lived there, and her other son made a four-hour round trip from Canterbury to bring her to the EasyJet home base. Her son helped Joy to check in her luggage and waved goodbye the moment she went through the security checks. It was 90 minutes before her departure time.
