Even though she felt ashamed at first, feelings of anger and embarrassment soon replaced the shame. She was also very confused about where they were coming from. According to the female employees, her outfit was unacceptable even though it was not even among the worst ones there. She went to the water park to have fun with her family, but she was now being made to feel bad about her body.

Even though she was initially embarrassed by their complaint, Madelyn started to see red. It did not make sense to her that they were singling her out like that. On top of that, they were clearly doing so because her body was not the same as the other women in the water park. She did not deserve this!
