Despite the fact that the boys outnumbered the two men there, they couldn’t help but feel intimidated by the older men as they walked over. After all, they had no idea how strong the men might have been – or worse – how dangerous. The bigger man answered their inquiring question. He said he was the girl’s father.

After getting this response, the boys backed off. They thought that the girl might have been drunk or under the influence when they saw her. She didn’t ask them for help while they were there.
