Two decades after that, Robert Restall decided to take on the challenge. It is interesting to hear that he discovered a stone that had an inscription saying, “1704.” This has since been used as a reference to the age of the Money Pit. However, Restall wound up inhaling carbon monoxide and falling to his death!
