Precautions
An experienced animal rescuer knows that you need to take various precautions regardless of how much you want to help. After all, animals tend to behave in odd ways when they feel endangered or scared. Even though some might simply cower in the corner out of fear, there are others that get aggressive. Some rescuers have been attacked by these creatures. The firefighters need to follow a set of rules to ensure both their safety and that of the animal.

A fireman must be ready for just about anything when they respond to an animal rescue call. Cats and dogs are not the only creatures that they rescue. Aside from that, they can also be called in to deal with undomesticated ones such as chickens, bears, and even wild cats.
