Nintendo Released SNES, 1991
The gaming company Nintendo released the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, aka SNES or Super Nintendo, in 1991. The machine changed the video game industry forever as becoming the most commercially successful 16-bit era game console. In 2003, the production of the SNES was discontinued.
Johnny Carson Retired In 1992
Johnny Carson was the original king of the late-night talk show. He began his career back in 1962, and his long track officially ended in 1992 from The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson. The talk show host won six Emmy Awards, as well as the 1980 Television Academy’s Governor Award, and a 1985 Peabody award.
