What is the true story behind the photograph, and where is this little fellow now? Darwin the Capuchin was spotted strolling around the furniture store in a tiny baby coat in 2012. Clearly, Twitter went crazy. It was the birth of a meme! Officials weren’t laughing as much in reality. Because he was not a legal pet at the time, they took him away and charged the owner. He’s currently monkeying around at Toronto’s Story Book Farm Primate Sanctuary. Probably as he should be!
